I would like a house in Orkney or the Shetlands.

Keiss, near John O Groats, 2 bed, semi detached,
solid fuel CH, wooden double glazing, large garden on three sides
Any rural/seaside area in Scotland.

An older style semi detached council house for exchange. It sits in a corner plot and has gardens on three sides. It has large wooden double glazed windows, solid fuel central heating, (which uses a bag a week, and keeps the house toasty warm), the bathroom and toilet are upstairs. The two bedrooms are fairly large, I use the bigger one as a spare room and office, and have a double bed in the smaller one and do not feel in the slightest bit cramped, both bedrooms have fitted cupboards in them. The lounge is 14' x 11 and the kitchen is probably about the same size, both bedrooms sit above these two rooms and are the same size as well. Each bedroom has built in cupboards.

The village has about 150 folk in it, a primary school, local shop, Post office van that visits twice a week, a new village hall being built and most wonderfully a lovely harbour and stunning clean sandy beaches.

I would like a two bedroomed detached or semi detached house or bungalow in any rural or seaside area, the more remote the better. I would consider an end of terrace.

A coal fire and a garden are musts. I love my garden and have been spending time turning this one into the beginning of some sort of shape.

This village is 8 miles north of Wick, which has a Tescos, a train station, airport, and regular buses to Inverness. The ferry to Orkney is up the road, and lots of folk go there to shop as well as they have a Body Shop and the famous Shetland Soap Company.

The rent is £58 a week, with four free weeks a year. The rates are £75 a month, for ten months, I get 25% off for single occupancy.

The weather here is far nicer than most people think plus in the summer there is almost 24 hours daylight. I can see the mountains in the distance from one window and the sea from another.

If you are in the slightest interested, please email me deequintas@btinternet.com or phone 01955631797 or 07791149504

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to have a read.
