Hello.

I would like a 2/3 Bed house with own garden. Need it to be in a decent travelling time of Lincoln uni with good schools. No electric storage heaters please. Looking to move after Christmas.

I have a 1 year old 'barn conversion' style 2 bed semi. It is situated on a private new build estate of 7 properties (5 privately owned/2 housing association) on the edge of a conservation area.

It has a living room with a door leading onto a patio and a good sized garden. Hall, downstairs toilet. Kitchen with integrated electric oven, gas hob and extractor. Front bedroom has a built in cupboard/wardrobe and the airing cupboard. Bathroom with over the bath shower. The back bedroom has the aerial/phone socket.

The hall is tiled, the living room is laminate and this year new carpets were laid on the stairs landing and both bedrooms. The toilet, kitchen and bathroom have nonslip flooring.

Gas central heating, double glazed.

To the side and rear of the property is land and stables and over the road from the private access are fields. Alconbury Weston only has a pub and farm shop but 15 min walk away is Alconbury (2 min in a car) there is a post office/shop, two pubs, nursery, primary school, doctors, hairdressers and a fish and chip van every Thursday. Its the type of village that still holds village fetes, family days, village shows and everyone seems to leave their doors unlocked! There is a Sports and social and a childrens play park between the two villages and a lovely river walk (if your child likes ducks!)

The closest main town is Huntingdon.

The bus stop is a two minute walk away with hourly buses to Peterborough and Huntingdon.

It has excellent road links for the A1 and A14 for London/Northampton/Leicester/Cambridge/Peterborough and Bedford.

If you want to look up the area on upmystreet.com it comes under PE28 4JA which is the road the private estate leads off.

I would not be leaving this house if I were not looking at starting uni in September as the house and area are truly amazing.....just gutted there is not a Uni in Huntingdon!!!

Many thanks.
