hi mumsabout
yep know how you feel..ive got 3 people who said they wanted mine & now they dont answer emails...
the reason some people ask if they are in towns or areas you dont want is that maybe you could use their hse in a multi-way...i know i always ask...but then i do say " not what/where you want" but " can you use me in multi"?? |

people drive you insane |

im getting to stage where thinking of giving up looking
have found 3 excahnges now and they all seemed really keen then at the last minute just before due to come and view mine (had already spent time and money to view theres) have said sorry they dont want to move that far. grrrrrrrr why string people along and not do research into the area it really gets me goat up .
am in a really good area and have made sure they have all had the info they need so can resaerch area- sent them links about town / council/local area etc.
starting to think all people in london are like this - timewasters - who dream of moving to the country but never actually do it |

hi djderbys
sorry you've been messed about but let me assure you its not all of us londoners that mess about, some of do actualy want to exchange.
know how you feel i keep having same things..but its not just people from london ive had 2 diff ladies in cornwall-1 in devon 1 in wales 3 in kent all do exactly same things..thats why now ive revised areas im looking for & wont look further than kent & east sussex & if anyones remotely interested in mine i tell them they must research my area 1st,& i email them area info in case they dont do search..then if still interested then they can come back to me. i now have ariel view photos of my hse & area on my website as that helps so they can get idea of how area looks, hopefully can illiminate some people who cant be bothered to do search before asking.
good luck & hope you find what your looking for |

starting to think all people in london are like this - timewasters - who dream of moving to the country but never actually do it[/quote]
Don't paint everyone the same!
I've had people from the areas that I am looking to move do mess me about, so I could say the same about people in the country being timewasters.
I recently had someone with a 3 bed up by the Pennies who wanted my place in LONDON - we put out a call for a 3 way as I am quite clear in my ad about what I want (and don't), after 6/7 weeks found someone - what had happened Rochdale had given up and gone private renting - so I could start to think simlarly to you - but I don't.
All I am trying to find is a 3 bed plus garden in various parts of Hertfordshire or Mid Bedfordshire and I get messed about by people who want to move to London then decide then don't -
Its just people - unfortunately those of who are serious movers have to find our way through the TIMEWASTERS / PHOTOCOLLECTORS etc - you just have to remain positive (and I know its hard) - your new home is out there ................... but please don't label people its not fair! |

nobody even leaves message to say if it helped them or not...
but for the mo im closing access of as ive noticed im replying to exchanges in kent-east sussex & they are looking at my site getting the info & going off reg elsewhere then not getting bk to me about exchange so im loosing out by offering them more site options.so ive decided if your in area im looking for you arnt able to get the info but like you & some others that have asked for the info or i thought might benefit from it i email it to them now.

These virtual earth sites genuinely use alot of memory and require a high power graphics card, to be honest they are not worth the time and effort as most of the info you need you can find elsewhere and on ordanance survey sites. |

you dont need to download or instal anything when using virtual earth...unless you choose to use the 3 D option which is why i only use the 2D ..& yes will agree you can use a map or just do google search but this is a semi-live search & can give you better insite than any other site into they lay of the land & hse your interested in..
eg ..i had woman from ??? contact me i used maps & google which was just fine but when i used the live search it showed she actualy lived smack bang in middle of 2 stadiums with major railway running behind her hse.. now none of that showed up on other sites so i would have travel 200 miles costing ££££ for nothing...
but it is all down to personal choice i think....but again you do not need to download / instal nothing so none of your comps memory is used |
