Hi there,
We would like to move to a 3-4 bedroom house in Chatteris.
We live in St Neots, in a quiet cul-de-sac, in a lovely large three bedroomed Housing Association house, with a medium sized back garden with shed and small front garden with side entrance to the back of house. The house is end of terrace. We are close to many primary schools and at least 2 secondary, there is a park a few doors down. We are close to local shops and town is about a 10 minute walk at most. The neighbours on our left are lovely and have been living next to us for14 years, on the right is a 6 ft fence which leads to a private estate.
There is a fantastic large kitchen, a large lounge and a small toilet downstairs, with the main bathroom and 2 large bedrooms and 1 smaller bedroom upstairs. Gas central heating/double glazing throughout the house. Good sized loft for plenty of storage space. Two smoke alarms (up and down hall) Room sizes are as follows:
* lounge - 13ft x 14ft 6
* kitchen/diner - 16ft x 13ft 6
* downstairs toilet - 5ft 2 x 3ft
* main front bed - 13ft x 10ft
* back bed - 12ft 6 x 10ft (with walk-in wardrobe)
* small front bed - 10ft x 6ft 2 (with built-in wardrobe)
* upstairs bathroom - 8ft x 7ft
* upstairs landing - 10ft x 9ft 6
* downstairs hall - 9ft x 4ft 6
* rear garden - 40ft x 20ft, with shed at bottom and completely enclosed with 6ft fencing.
We are very close to A1 (5 mins in car) Train station just down the road from us. Plenty of bus services around St Neots and to Cambridge, Huntingdon, Bedford, Peterborough, etc... Shops in St Neots are great - plenty of supermarkets to choose from and other mainstream shops (such as Argos, Woolworths, Boots, Superdrug, etc) Many doctors, dentists, vets, etc within walking distance too. Hinchingbrooke hospital 15 mins away. Loads of pubs and takeaways, including delivery food places. I've always found it a very convenient place to live, as it's central to lots of places and easy to travel.
Look forward to hearing from you
Michelle
